Via the CORE Manage Profile Properties, the DNN core provides option to set individual profile field visibility (figure 1). In order to allow edit of all properties fields, the WorkControl-UserManager v04.09.XX displays all profile fields as visible. There is a need to hide certain profile fields from edit in support forum. There are two possible options:
- Add new setting in the WorkControl-UserManager module Settings to “respect” the profile Visible settings in the Manage Profile Properties (figure 1) OR
- Provide option at the module level to control each individual profile field visibility
In the up coming release WorkControl-UserManager v04.09.05, a new setting “All profile fields visible in edit mode:” will be added (figure 3). If this field is checked, all profile fields will be visible for edit. If it is not checked, only fields set Visible in the Manage Profile Properties will be available for edit (example of middle name field hidden in figure 4 ).
