The ITIL Service Desk provides a simple infrastructure for capturing incidents and automating service desk ticket numbers for tracking work and email correspondence. It is a searchable and sortable structure which

Users report issues by submitting ticket. Ticket is assigned to technician who will resolve that issue and update the ticket status. System will notify user when the ticket is completed.

To run ITIL Service Desk module, you will need DotNetNuke and Bootstrap compatible theme. ITIL Service Desk is an extension of DotNetNuke – a free opensource content/application management system. Think of extension as plug-in or add-on. Bootstrap is a CSS framework that enables responsive content display on desktop, tablet and mobile.
