The Sales department has an Excel list of customers who need access to the DotNetNuke Sales portal. The data in this list can be cut and pasted into the Excel Template that comes with the WorkControl-UserImport module. The minimum required data in the template are:
- UserName
- Email
- LastName
- FisstName
Once the template is filled with data, it can be uploaded to the portal (just like upload any other files). The the WorkControl-UserImport Settings page, specify the Excel connection and has it point to the upload Excel file. You are then ready to import and setup the custom list as user accounts in DotNetNuke portal. |
